The New England City Council met during a special meeting on Thursday, April 13 to discuss possible penalties for Quam construction for a delayed completion of Phase II of the water rehabilitation project.
On Monday, Dec. 1 the city council of New England unanimously voted to increase the water and sewer rates, something that hasn’t changed since 2008.
The New England City Council welcomed a new member to their committee during the Oct. 6 meeting.
After almost a four year process the New England City Council finished updating the city ordinances. The city ordinances had not been updated since the 1970s.
His first bid for re-election was successful, as Marty Opdahl will be mayor of New England for at least one more term.
