Dickinson Trinity used a power game to overpower the New England Tigers in a home volleyball game Tuesday.
The visiting Titans won in three, holding off the Tigers on the first set by a 25-20 margin. The visitors won the second set (25-12) before getting the sweep (25-21).
“I didn’t think we came to play today,” Tiger coach Kay Moody said after the 3-0 loss to the Titans. “They (the Titans) kept up their level of play and we were not ready to play at a high level.”
The Tigers are 3-3 in regional play going into a Thursday road trip to Beach before visiting Dickinson Trinity Saturday for a jamboree.
