It Happens in the Library

Mott Public Library

What happens in the Library?

Independent learning, relaxation, collaboration, teamwork, reading, communication, information seeking, volunteer activities and more. Each day Library Patrons find different ways to interact in the Library. Sometimes they come in to find a quiet place to sit and be.
Catalog and Cover was wonderful!

Nearly 100 books hit the shelves. Children›s, Junior Fiction, Young Adult, Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction and Large Print. Thank you, Volunteers for helping us get books into the circulation software and onto the shelves. Soon patrons will be able to search for books by subject and place them on hold from home.
Three Catalog and Cover dates are upcoming- October 15, November 12 and December 10. There is a job for every comfort level. We can teach you what you need to know to help out. Please join us. We do have a little fun getting things done.
Please sign up for the Writer’s Workshop with Taylor Brorby on October 11 from 4-6 p.m. There are 12 spots available and pre registration is required. This workshop is made available by Humanities North Dakota, Bismarck State College, North Dakota Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities and the Mott Public Library.
Please check out the Mott Library Friends.

The Friends group is organizing to support the Library, and to help it grow and continue to thrive. Many hands make light work.

The next meeting is on September 19, Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Pheasant Cafe. Every Library Needs Friends.
Thank you for all you do to support the Mott Public Library.
