The Regent Twilight Tour was held on July 25.

The tour was at the Hettinger Research Extension Center(HREC) test plots west of Regent.

John Rickertsen, NDSU Research Agronomist at the Hettinger Research Extension Center explained the attributes of each of the varieties of spring wheat, durum wheat and barley grown there.

The varieties will be harvested this fall and the results presented at the HREC Western Dakota Crops Day in December.

Once the field tour was complete the Hettinger Crop & Livestock Improvement Association treated the attendees to a Burger & Brat Feed.

The Hettinger County Crop & Livestock Improvement Association would like to thank the Kirschemann family for donating the use of the land for the plot.
