A single vehicle rollover Tuesday morning on Highway 21 near New England left two people dead, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The vehicle, a 2003 Acura MDX SUV, was reportedly traveling westbound three miles west of New England on Highway 21 when the driver, a 48-year old woman from Joplin, Missouri, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The Acura went into the ditch on the north side of the highway and rolled over. The driver was ejected and died on the scene.
Thew passenger, a 34-year old man from Houston Texas, also died on the scene. Although wearing a seat belt, he was partially ejected from the vehicle and also died on the scene.
The crash is still under investigation by the NDHP.
The identities are being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
