New England and Mott-Regent each brought two teams to the annual Shiloh Jamboree at the Bismarck Event Center.
But only the ladies went home with a victory.
Mott-Regent defeated Wilton-Wing in the morning contest in the Exhibition Hall by a 39-33 margin.
The Wildfire opened up n 8-5 lead in the first quarter, then built up a 23-11 lead by halftime.
In the second half, Wilton-Wing staged a comeback, outscoring the Wildfire by a 10-6 margin in the third quarter and by a 12-10 score in the final quarter.
Bree Friedt was the game’s high scorer with 13 points, while Karagan Friedt added 10 points.
New England’s girls squad ran away with a 57-37 decision over Standing Rock Saturday.
On the boys side, New England lost a 66-58 decision to Standing Rock.
The Warriors built a quick 20-13 lead by the end of the first quarter.The Warriors led 35-19 at the half.
Mott-Regent lost to Dunseith Saturday when the Dragons pulled away late to claim a 61-50 win. Cody Perkins led all scorers with 18 points in the loss.
