In the fifth-place game Saturday, it was Heart River running away with a 43-20 victory which left the Tigers in sixth.

The Tigers went to Flasher Tuesday in search of a victory, but lost a 54-37 decision to fall to 1-3 for the year.

The Tigers will be looking for their second win of the season Friday when Bowman County (3-1)  comes to New England for a 7 p.m. contest.

The Bulldogs made it to the Roughrider finals before Hettinger-Scranton handed Bowman its first loss of the year.
