“What a hassle”, we tell ourselves. “I hate needles,” or “It hurts too much and I don’t have the time.”And the biggest lie that we tell ourselves is, “I’ll never need blood, and if I ever do, the hospital or clinic will just go the the store and buy some.”
Ken Churchill of New England recently received a watch in recognition of 20 gallons of blood donated. That equals 160 times that he has donated.
