The Week Ahead: A period of cooler, below average temperatures are anticipated over the Easter holiday. Light snow will move through Friday into early Saturday. Accumulations will remain light.

It is not unusual here on the plains to experience many seasons in one week. During autumn especially it can go from blazing hot to blizzarding in the course of a few days.

The weather has been difficult this week. The rain followed by the snow and wind has been a challenge. Hopefully everyone is safe and sound, and the calving is going alright.
