Mott/Regent Wildfire Boys Basketball Wins Third

The Mott-Regent Wildfire boys basketball team won third place in the 47th Annual Roughrider Tournament on Dec. 16.

The team began the tournament with a win against the New England Tigers 85-54. In the second round, they lost Dickinson Trinity 52-67. In the final round of games, they won against Glen-Ullin-Hebron 66-47.
Dickinson Trinity won the tournament, Bowman County came in second, Glen Ullin-Hebron came in fourth, Killdeer came in fifth, New England came in sixth, Heart River came in seventh and RIchardton-Taylor finished in eighth.
Last year, the Wildfire came in second behind Dickinson Trinity.
