Phase Two of the playground equipment for New England Lions Park was delivered on October 11.   Lions unloaded 47 pieces with a total weight of 2,000 pounds.  Johnny Plaggemeyer and Gregg Fitterer assisted with a fork lift.  Installation began a week later, with completion expected within a week.

Recent donations and grants bring the total funds available to just over $61,000 for the $80,000 project.   A loan enabled the Lions club to order and pay for Phase Two to complete the project this year.  Donations are still encouraged.

The EH Schwartz Memorial Glo Run held in August attracted more than 300 participants.  The event provided funding that allowed a $1,500 donation to the Lions Park Playground Project.
