Stella Lutz, 77, of Gold Canyon, Ariz. died on June 4, 2017 at Baywood Banner Hospital, Mesa, Ariz. Stella was born Jan. 14, 1940 to Edwin and Pearl Farber of Dickinson. She attended Dickinson State College and started her career in education.
On June 18, 1961 Stella married Marvin Lutz. They lived on a farm near New England and had a home in Dickinson. Later in life they moved to Rapid City and wintered in Gold Canyon.
Marvin and Stella were blessed with two children, Renelle and Curtis.
Stella will be remembered for her caring spirit, love of her family, joy of cooking and entertaining. Her love for the Lord will never be forgotten.
Stella is survived by her husband, Marvin, and daughter Renelle (John) Watt, Mesa; her sister, Eileen Farber, Denver; her brother Lloyd (Darlene) Farber, Rapid City; grandchildren, Tyler (Candace) Christensen, Dickinson, and Nina Lutz, Boston; Great-grandchildren, Kelsey Christensen and Ashlie Radtke, Dickinson; nephew, Bryan Farber, Chandler, Ariz., and Becky Walters, Rapid City, as well as several Lutz family members and many cousins.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Curtis.
