Victor Roller, former Dickinson resident, died at St. Alexius Medical Center on March 24, 2017.  He had been a resident at Edgewood Vista in Bismarck the past two years.

Victor was born on March 21, 1944 on the farm in Slope County and attended school at St. Mary’s in New England.  He worked for many farmers, TMI, and St. Anthony’s Club in Dickinson and lived at the ARC building for many years.  Victor loved to visit with people and had many friends of all ages.  With a twinkle in his eye, he longed to spread any community news saying that, “A little birdy had told him something.”  He was a wonderful son and brother and loved his many nieces and nephews, following their extra-curricular activities with great enthusiasm.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Privratsky, Dickinson; brothers, Jim (Betty) Roller, Eugene, Ore., Tom (Jan) Roller, Chancellor, Ala., Ron (Char) Roller, Beloit, Wisc., Ben (Diane) Roller, Bismarck; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Bob) Walsh, Larimore, N.D.,  Jodi (Bob) Martinson, Bismarck; Debbie Roller, Gilbert, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Cecilia Roller; brothers, Al, Joe, and Dave; brothers-in-law, John and Joe Privratsky; nieces, Betsy Roller and Sharon Keller; nephews, Calvin, Mark, Peter, and Joseph Privratsky, David Roller; and a special aunt, Margaret Frank.
