New England sharp shooters hit the court

New England student heading to state competition.

Local New England sharpshooters took to the court of the Elks Hoop Shoot on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Chelbie Admidin took second place in the girls eight and nine year old division, Mark Fitterer took second place in the boys eight and nine year old division.

Matthew Bock took first in the boys 12 and 13 year old division, and Samantha Volk took third place in the girls 12 and 13 year old division at the Elks Hoop Shoot on Sunday, Dec. 15. Bock will head to Jamestown to compete at the state competition on Saturday, Jan. 21.

This will be the fourth year in a row that Bock has competed at the State level. He won the state competition in 2014, and eventually won at the regional level, advancing to the national level.
