It’s going to be a football-filled weekend in New England.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, New England will play host for the Badlands Youth Football League Jamboree. Kids in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade will gear up and battle four other teams in a two-hour time span. Along with New England, other teams traveling for the competition include Bowman County, Beach, Killdeer, and Heart River.

The teams match up and are each allowed to run a certain number of offensive and defensive plays on a shorter field.

Following the youth football jamboree, the Trinity-New England co-op football team have scheduled a varsity versus junior varsity scrimmage.

Following the game, parents and players are welcomed to a group meal.
