Ardyth A. Netzer, 86, went to Heaven June 22, 2016, while being a resident at the Good Samaritan Home. A private burial was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Ardyth was born July 29, 1929, to Oscar and Dorothy Bakke in Bowman. She grew up on the family farm by Scranton. She attended the Scranton and New England Public Schools and after graduating from Dickinson State Teachers College she taught country school.
Ardyth married Edwin Netzer on June 15, 1951, in New England. Edwin and Ardyth farmed and ranched south of Regent until moving to Dickinson in 1978. In 1986, they retired and moved to Bismarck. Ardyth had been a resident of the Bismarck Baptist Home and the Good Samaritan Home since 2007.
Her relationship with Jesus Christ was most important to her, she was an avid prayer warrior. She was a kind, selfless and genuine person. She was the best cook, the best baker and loved to keep her homes immaculate.
Ardyth is survived by her husband, Edwin; her daughter, Vicki (Ken) Lewis; her son, David (Delphine) Netzer; and her sister, Shirley Bakke.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ordell Bakke.
