Mott Public Library 103rd Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser

The Mott Public Library began as the Inez Hendrickson Library in April of 1913.

We wish to celebrate the women and families who had vision and made great effort to establish this public library and support a Learning Community. Please join us as we celebrate 103 years of this cornerstone of the Learning Community in Mott.
The Party starts at 2 p.m. on April 2 at the Assembly of God Church.  Join us from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. for a Family Fun Carnival at the Assembly of God Church at 212 Iowa Ave in Mott.  Come play Minute to Win It Games with your family and friends, Race Horses, Ping Pong Plunk and other fun games for a chance to win marvelous Prizes: Tablets, VR Glasses, and Lego Sets. There will also be a beginner’s Mosaic Project.  Snack on Tacos in a Bag, Popcorn and Pop. No Party is complete without cake, balloons and goodie bags for party goers.  Performing artist, Eliza Blue will delight the whole family with her musical story time from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. right here at the church.
Early evening brings a Grown Up Art Opportunity. Come in to create a mosaic butterfly, swirl, sun/star or treble clef. Glue tiles into a pleasing pattern to brighten up home or yard. Simple technique and beautiful results. Mosaic Class is at the Pheasant Cafe from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Preregistration with fee payment of 30.00 is required to save your spot. This is an adult only Event. We will have treats available. It is a Party!
Silent Auction items including, Date night baskets, Day at the Track baskets and Family Fun baskets,  will be available to bid on and to see at the Pheasant beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The winning bids will be announced at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday evening.
Stay to enjoy Music and Stories from Rick Watson and Kevin Carvell from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Pheasant.  Enjoy an evening of stories and “Mott” type songs and poems. You will also hear more about Mott’s Literary history. Discover the books and the writers who come from Mott. This promises to be THE BEST way to spend your Saturday.
