ERVIN WOLF

Ervin Wolf was born on Oct. 6, 1931 to Joseph F. and Anna (Doll) Wolf in rural Mott, ND.

As a young boy, he grew up and attended school in Mott, graduating from Mott Lincoln High School in 1950.  Ervin held various jobs throughout his lifetime including working for MDU, the Mott Creamery, the Mott Equity Exchange, and Mott Grain.  After retiring, he worked for local area farmers.  Rose Marie Sabo came into his life in 1955 and they were united in marriage on June 3, 1957 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Lefor.  To this union, two daughters were born,  JoAnn and Helen.  Ervin was a member of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Mott, was a 26 year member of the Mott Volunteer Fire Department, served on the Mott City Council, and was a Board Member of the J&K Water Line.  Woodworking was one of his favorite pastimes, and over the years, he made many items for his family and friends.  Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rose; daughters, JoAnn (Doug) Wegh, Mott; Helen (Mike) Mason, Minnetonka, MN; grandchildren, Jen (Dan) Krueger, Amanda (Josh) Skluzacek, Jon Wegh, Lisa Mason (Jason Schneider), David (Allison) Mason, and Miranda Wolf; great-grandchildren, Noah, Sarah, and Hannah Krueger, Luke Skluzacek, Caelyn and Rhys Mason; brother Art (Carol) Wolf, Mott; one aunt, one uncle, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ray Wolf. Condolences to Ervin’s family may be sent through our website at  www.evansonjensenfuneralhome.com
