Libertarian Jack Seaman announces campaign for U.S. House 2016
Jack Seaman of Fargo officially announced his candidacy for U.S. House today. Mr. Seaman received the Libertarian Party of North Dakota’s endorsement at their annual meeting in November of last year.
Seaman was also the Libertarian candidate for U.S. House in 2014, leading a ticket that saw record vote totals for Libertarian candidates in North Dakota and securing ballot access for the Party in 2016.
“I’m very excited to get this campaign under way. We ran a solid campaign in 2014 and I am looking to build on that success in 2016 and becoming North Dakota’s next Congressman. More and more people across our state realize that by continually electing Republicans and Democrats we get more of the same from Washington, D.C.- more debt, more spending, more war, and less individual freedom, just as I warned many times throughout my 2014 campaign.” Seaman said.
Tony Mangnall, Libertarian Party of North Dakota Chairman said, “A Libertarian is the kind of citizen our founders envisioned when they wrote the constitution and Jack Seaman embodies those ideals. North Dakota is lucky to have him running and I’m looking forward to announcing more Libertarian campaigns in the near future, including U.S. Senate and Governor.”
Jack Seaman has been a North Dakota resident for 30 years and lives in South Fargo. He owns MinDak Gold Exchange, a precious metals dealer located in downtown Fargo.
