The upcoming dinner theater production in New England still has openings for cast members. The production, a comedic play, is set to perform on May 1st and 2nd, with a matinee on the 3rd.
The play is being organized by Lisa Plaggemeyer and a committee of the newly re-formed New England Activities Organization. Plaggemeyer and her group are looking for people in New England, as well as; surrounding communities who are interested in acting to cast for a part in the play. The group is looking for people of all levels of acting talent, and are encouraging actors as young as freshman in high school to participate. Plaggemeyer also emphasized that there are large roles and small roles and that they are looking at 28-30 cast members.
Plaggemeyer said, “regardless of experience level, if you are interested, we would like you to be a part of our dinner theater”.
Still undecided on the exact play, Plaggemeyer will make the choice based on how many actors she can cast, but no matter the decision it will still be a comedy.
Interested parties should contact Plaggemeyer by Friday, Feb. 27 at 701-290-6330. Casting of parts, will take place shortly there-after. She also said to leave a message, if she is unable to answer, and she’ll respond within 24 hours. People, who have questions about the production and/or would like to volunteer to help with the production, are also encouraged to call.
Proceeds for the first production are going to be given to Ardel Humleker. Humleker was recently diagnosed with cancer.
