New England boys defeat Dickinson Trinity in rematch of Roughrider Championship

The last time these two faced each other, the Titans came away with the victory and the Roughrider Championship trophy.

The last time these two faced each other, the Titans came away with the victory and the Roughrider Championship trophy.

This was a different game.

Lead by Cody Holt and his 14 points, the Tigers took the lead after the first quarter and never let it go. The closes Dickinson Trinity was to leading at the end of any quarter was the first, down only by three points.

The real damage was done in the third quarter, when New England outscored Trinity 19-11, the Titans could recover.

The Tiger ultimately won by a score of 62-48.

Leading the way for scoring on New England was Holt who had 14, followed by John Urlacher with 13. Daniel Prince and Brady Bender each tallied 11.

Holt had the team lead in rebounds with 10 to complete the double-double.
