The Emergency Services Center took another step on Sunday, July 27 as the ambulance service officially moved in and now calls the new building it’s home.

Under construction since breaking ground in Aug. 2013, the building is very close to completion.

Inside you’ll find a state-of-the-art conference area, equipped with a large television set and two areas on the floor that open up to allow computer connections, so if there’s training or presenting that requires a presentation, they won’t need to use a projector.

The building is also equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, two bedrooms, two showers and a common area, so visiting employees have a place to stay.

Holding the fire department from moving in is some final landscaping.

The cement that was laid cut short some room on the edges, and at this point the trucks can’t turn around in order to back into the garage bay.

The plans are to utilize recycled road material to lay on either side of the cement drive way, this will allow the necessary room for the truck to maneuver around.
