Honeyman, Wegh place at State Meet

The state track meet was held in Bismarck May 23-24.

The state track meet was held in Bismarck May 23-24. Mott-Regent Boys placed 33rd overall and tied with Des Lacs-Burlington-Lewis & Clark in team scores with four points. The girls tied for 11th with Medina-Pingree-Buchanan, Fargo Oak Grove Parshall, Havey-Wells County and Rugby with 18 points.

Brady Wegh placed fifth in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.09.

Abbey Honeyman, fresh off her Southwest Female Athlete of the Year Award, placed second in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.35. Honeyman also placed seventh in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 47.25.

Kindred placed first as a team with 81 points for the boys, and for the girls Carrington took home the top spot as a team with 87 points.
