This Saturday, March 22nd audiences will skip down the Yellow Brick Road… with Dorothy and her friends when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students perform an original musical adaptation of the timeless favorite, The Wizard of Oz.

The local case features Nicole Olson as Dorothy, Logan Wolf as the Lion, Victoria Koch as the Tin Man and Sarah Ashpaugh as Toto. Also featured are Stephanie Witte as the Professor/Wizard, Paige Ehlis as Glinda, and Shelley Kathrein the Wicked Witch. Waylan Kathrein will play the Green Guard, Jasmine Augare will play Mayor Munchkin and Justin Kathrein will play Farmer Munchkin. To complete the ensemble Jared Barnes, Megan Monke, Brock Ehlis, Alexis Jaramillo, Hannah Frank and Aubri Hamilton will appear as the Winkies, Jenna Ehlis, Michael Frank, Linzee Volk, Nathan Kaufman, Sebella Sorenson, Adriene Roller, Avery Frank, Dennis Bendickson and Will Schmidt as Magicians, Matthew Bock, Molly Wolf, Alexander Covert, Destiny Bray, Samantha Volk, Rayya Clevenger and Chevy Dhamers as Munchkins and Bradley Krebs, Emma Olsonawski, Mark Fitterer, L’Kia Covert, Tucker Bock, Addison Fitterer, McKay Austin-Stuckner, Ava Augare, Andrew Golden, Drace Eisenbarth, Katie Schmidt, Grady Bock, Samantha Fitterer, Messa Kuehl and Sophie Olsonawski as Fierce and Ferocious Flowers. Breanna Aijala, Jayla Nelson Tucker Mcleish and Robert Prince will be serving as the Assistant Directors.

Tour Actor/Director CJ Bonde will play Aunt Em/Scarecrow while Tour Actor/Director Liz Behnke will direct the performance.

The Wizard of Oz will be presented at 3 pm and 5:30 pm at the New England Public School Gymnasium. Tickets are available at The Express Stop and at the door.
