The Badlands livestock judging contest in Bowman was held on February 23. The junior 4-H team one received 1st place, team two was 10th and team three was 9th. Team members were Carolyn Schultz was 1st high individual, 6th in reasons &3rd in placings, Samantha Reuther was 3rd high individual, 3rd in reasons & 7th in placings, Elizabeth Schultz was 8th high individual, 4th in reasons 10th in placings, Mitch Stuber was 10th high individual & 7th in reasons and Nick Rettinger was 10th in reasons and other members that participated were Mack Buckmeier, Tom Buckmeier,Madelyn Larson, Kaden Schauer, Tucker Ellingson, Tate Nordby, Tate Nash, Trent Youngstrand.
Adams County 4-H Senior Team placed 4th and team members were Hannah Nordby was 4th high individual &1nd in reasons, Ty Nordby was 7th high individual &7th in placings, Mac Stuber was 10th in reasons and Derek Lee was also on team.
Bowman FFA Team members where Mariah Brooks was 1st high individual & 1st in reasons, Lisa Wegner was 2nd high individual & 2nd in reasons.
NDSU 87th Little “I” Livestock Judging Contest
Elizabeth Schultz judged in the junior 4-H division and was 4th high individual, 8th in sheep & swine 12th in beef and 11th in reasons.
In the senior 4-H division contest the team placed 2nd placed. Mariah Brooks was high individual & received a gold ribbon, 4th in beef, 4th in sheep, 2nd swine and 2nd in reasons. Hannah Nordby was 5th high individual & received a gold ribbon, 3rd in sheep, 8th in swine and 4th in reasons.
Brandi Kaitfors received a silver ribbon and was 15th in reasons. Samantha Reuther received a bronze individual and 11th in sheep. Lisa Wegner received a bronze ribbon, 11th in reasons and 13th in sheep
Kindred Livestock Judging Contest
In the senior 4-H division Brandi Kaitfors was 4th high individual and Mariah Brooks was 8th high individual.
