Visiting with, Archie Baumann, the Founder and President of First Dakota Enterprises, Inc. he tells me that the hangar when completed will be 80′ x 70′ by 16′ high. Completion date, with Mother Nature’s help, will be by May sometime or when the winter frost leaves the ground.

Talking to Rex Kelsch, Mott Airport Chairman, he explains, that the need for larger facilities is due to larger airplanes using our airport, such as the Beech Craft Turboprop, Twin Engine plane with its extended height tail.

Researching First Dakota Enterprises Inc., I find they have been building residential and commercial construction services throughout the upper and central Midwest since 1984. Their statement of satisfaction to their customers is: “Our Company is based in South Dakota and centered on a strong Midwestern work ethic—we have pride in the work we do. From a project’s beginning to its completion, we are committed to our clients first—no matter how large or how small” Further research shows that President Archie Baumann has more than 33 years of construction experience in this field.
