Anna Erickson, age 97, of New England, N.D. went to her heavenly home Oct. 18, 2013 at Western Horizons Care Center in Hettinger, N.D.

A memorial service will take place in the spring of 2014.
Anna was born May 27, 1916 in Tepee Butte Township, the daughter of Christian and Carolina (Oberlander) Christman. She grew up in the Tepee Butte and Havelock areas.
Anna was a homemaker, helper and friend, who worked at New England Public School many years as a cook and baker, where she made many young friends. She raised her family in Lemmon, Mobridge, and Havelock, where her husband was a depot agent.
Anna is survived by her children: Earl (Joleen) Erickson, Hettinger, N.D., Judy Erickson, Ruskin, Fla. and Jim (Elaine) Erickson, Brainerd, Minn. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Surviving siblings, who were all here from Oregon to celebrate Anna’s 97th birthday, are her sisters, Pauline (Les) Schallhorn, Elsie Ball and Lorraine (Bill) Harris.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Philip (Eric); daughters, Joan Weitz and Phyllis Lamprecht; sons, Phillip and Bob Erickson; daughter-in-law, Evelyn, son-in-law, Frank Lamprecht; three grandchildren, Virginia and Joseph Lamprecht and Bonnie Weitz; brothers, Chris, Elmer, Pete, John, and Art; and sisters, Emma, Caroline, and Ella.
