Wanda Maixner, 57, Bismarck, died May 10, 2013 at her home.

Services were held May 15, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, N.D., with Pastor Walt Wolff officiating.
Wanda Hildebrand was born Sept. 15, 1955, at Hazen to Alvin and Delma (Reinhardt) Hildebrand. She grew up on the family farm southwest of Hazen. She graduated from Hazen High School in 1973 and attended Montana State University at Bozeman, Mont.
Oct. 2, 1983 her son, Lee Scheid, was born. May 27, 1999, Wanda married Robert R (Rick) Maixner.
Wanda had been previously employed at Prairie Knights Casino and for Byron Dorgan in Washington, D.C. as well as in Bismarck, N.D. for a time. For the last ten years Wanda was employed by Laducer and Associates of Mandan, N.D.
She is survived by her husband, Robert R. (Rick) Maixner of Bismarck, N.D.; son, Lee (Briana) Scheid of Hazen; brother, Steve (Sheila) Hildebrand of Hazen; stepson, Jack Maixner of Las Vegas, Nev.; step grandchildren, Emily and Justin Maixner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Edward and Betsy Maixner, Herndon, Va., Joel and Linda Maixner, Frances Maixner, Laura Maixner, all of Bismarck, Frank and Louise Maixner, Minneapolis, Minn., Darcy Maixner and Swede Ostrom, Hartwell, Ga., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and one step-daughter, Christine Maixner.
Memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, N.D. and Ruth Meiers Hospitality House.
