Larry Roemmich, age 75 of Mott, N.D. passed away April 28, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson, N.D.

The funeral service was held May 2, 2013 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery south of Mandan with full military honors afforded by the Mandan VFW. Pastor John Amundson officiated.
Larry Jake Roemmich was born Dec. 7, 1937 in Mott, N.D. to Jacob Jr. and Louise Marie (Kamrath) Roemmich. He graduated from Mott Lincoln High School in 1955 and attended Concordia College and Dickinson State Teachers College.
Larry served in the United States Air Force from Oct. 18, 1960 to Oct. 17, 1966. Following his discharge, he returned to Mott and worked on area farms and ranches. He then took over the family farm with his parents until his health forced him to retire. Larry moved into Mott in 2004. Since 2008, he has resided at St. Benedict’s Care Center in Dickinson.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mott.
Surviving family members include his two brothers and a sister: Archie (Betty) Roemmich, Paulsboro, N.J.; Arlyce (Jim) Muck, Rainier, Ore. and Dale (Sandra) Roemmich, Pipestone, Minn.; three nieces, six nephews, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
