Martha Klein, 96, of Mott, N.D. joined her Heavenly Father Feb. 19, 2013 at the Mott Good Samaritan Care Center with her family by her side.

A service of Celebration was held Feb. 23, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church in Mott. Rev. John Amundson officiated and burial followed at the Sunnyslope Cemetery.
Martha Zimmerman was born June 6, 1916 to Fred and Louise (Kirsch) Zimmerman in Elgin, N.D. Following her graduation from Christy’s Beauty School of Bismarck, N.D., Martha worked in Mott.
Martha was united in marriage to Reinhold Klein Feb. 15, 1945 at the Neuberg Congregational Church. She spent the rest of her years dedicated to her family and farm until 1975 when they retired and moved into Mott.
While living in Mott, she was active in maintaining her garden and flowers and other church activities, such as quilting for the needy at Trinity Lutheran Church. Martha was also involved in the Cannonball Senior Activity Center and did 18 years of volunteer work at the Mott Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home, of which she received three awards.
Forever grateful to God for her presence in their lives are her children: son, Larry Klein, of Bismarck, N.D. and her twin daughters, Shirley Bittner, of Bismarck, N.D. and Sharon (Keith) Kvanvig, Hettinger, N.D. Martha was blessed with four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, special friends and many generous and caring neighbors. Martha is also survived by her three sisters, Bertha Will, Bismarck, N.D., Violet Klein, Lemmon, S.D. and Nelda Zimmerman, Denver, Colo.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Reinhold Klein; her parents, Fred and Louise Zimmerman; three sisters; four brothers and a great grandson, Jayden Baumgartner.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Staff at the West River Regional Health Services in Hettinger, N.D. and the Mott Good Samaritan Society Nursing Center in Mott for their loving dedication and care for their mother.
