Herbert Arnold Schweiger, Sr. passed away peacefully Jan. 21, 2013. in Pensacola, Fla.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. Burial followed at Eastern Gate Cemetery.
He was born March 13, 1931 and raised in Mott, N.D. At 18, he joined the U.S. Army National Guard and served during the Korean conflict. After discharge, he settled in Pensacola and later went to work at Chemstrand and retired after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Schweiger; seven children, Herbert Schweiger Jr. (Tammy), Diana Banas (John), Melody Janik (Joe), Tina Thompson, Jeanne Silas, John Tucker (Jeanne) and Ed Tucker; siblings: Nick Schweiger (Lorraine), Alvin Schweiger (Marilyn), David Schweiger (Sue), Frank Schweiger (Shirley), Joe Schweiger (Charlotte), Jerry Schweiger, Larry Schweiger, Tim Schweiger (Rosie) and Diane Dunbar (Danny).
