Adeline C. Friez passed away at her home south of Mott, N.D. on Monday afternoon, January 14, 2013 at the age of 73 years, 2 months, 20 days.

Visitation will be on Friday from 1 pm to the time of the family service at 7 pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Mott. The funeral service for Adeline will be held at 10 am MST on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Mott Assembly of God Church. Pastor Dave Skjoldal will officiate with burial in Sunnyslope Cemetery at Mott.

Special music will be provided by Sandy Ingram, organist and Sissy Erickson, soloist. Serving as casketbearers are Shannon Hummel, Jessica Green, Alan Schulz, Mary Ann Anton, Roland Schaible, and Contessa Gonzales.

Adeline Clara (Kirschemann) Friez was born October 24, 1939 to Theobold and Martha (Schmierer) Kirschemann on a farm in Hettinger County southwest of Regent, ND. She attended Wagendorf Country School until moving into Regent where she graduated from the eighth grade.

Adeline enjoyed her career as a waitress at the Regent Cafe where she met the love of her life, Leslie Friez. She then worked at the Truck Stop in Lemmon, S.D. before working at the Holiday House in Mott. Adeline and Les were united in marriage on August 24, 1957 and made their home south of Mott for 50 years. They were blessed with two sons, Ricky and Randy. They were fortunate enough to move closer to Mott in 2007 where she enjoyed the riding mower and planting all of her flowers. She still went to drive the combine and help at the farm as long as she could. She was Les’ “right hand man” until the boys were old enough to take over.

Surviving family members include her husband, Les, Mott, N.D.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky and Sandy Friez, Watonga, OK and Randy Friez, Mott, N.D.; four grandchildren, Brandon and Marah Friez, Mott, N.D., Michelle Friez, Watonga, Okla., Melissa Roberts (Friez) and her husband Eric Roberts, Watonga, Okla.; four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Haylee, and Parker Roberts, and Javior Neugent (Friez), all of Watonga, Okla.; four sisters and two brothersin- law, Leona Pyles, Portage, Ind., Martha and Dennis Kraft, Laurel, Mont., Ella and Roger Rokusek, Mott, N.D. and Debbie Robertson, Mott, N.D.; 2 brothers and four sisters-in-law, August and Lucille Kirschemann, Mott, N.D., Roger and Ruth Kirschemann, Bismarck, N.D. and Lavonne Meier, and Sharon Kirschemann, all of Bismarck, N.D.; numerous nieces and nephews; very special friend, Mary Ann Anton, Dickinson, N.D.; and special caretakers, Jessica Green, Jonni Erickson and Contessa Gonzales, along with many other beloved caretakers. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Laverne and Jim Fulcomer, Lorraine and Wayne Larson; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jake and Ione Kirschemann, Harold and Rena Kirschemann, Edward and Adeline Kirschemann, Albert Meier and Art Kirschemann.
