There was an informal gathering of family and friends Jan. 4, 2013, to share stories and memories, at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Chance Paul Churchill was born May 13, 1984 in Dickinson, N.D., the son of Kenneth and Colleen (Kolling) Churchill. He was raised and educated in New England, N.D. where he enjoyed bowling, playing pool and football.

In loving memory of our: son, brother, dad, uncle, nephew and friend, you will be missed and always loved, by his nine year old daughter, Tristin Churchill-Wood, Bismarck, N.D.; his parents, Kenneth and Colleen Churchill, New England, N.D.; sister, Beth Churchill, Williston, N.D.; nephew, Ethan Churchill, Williston, N.D.; aunts and uncles, Terrie (Tim) Roller, Dickinson, N.D., Kim (Ronnie) Abrahamson, Dickinson, N.D., Tina (Bryan) Rogina, Dickinson, N.D.; Arthur Bartsch, Idaho, Leona Bartsch, Idaho, Julie Bartsch, Idaho, and Don Churchill, Oregon and his cousins, Colton, Lisa, Dana, Amanda, Celicia, Kayla, Ryan and Skylar.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad; grandmother, Elizabeth Kolling; uncles, Kurt Kolling, David Churchill and William Bartsch and aunt, Gladys.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
