Anna Finck, 87, of Mott, N.D. passed away Nov. 17, 2012 at the Mott Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Anna were held Nov. 20, 2012 at the Zoar Congregational Church in Mott. Rev. Corey Warner officiated and burial followed at the Sunnyslope Cemetery in Mott.

Anna Fischer was born Aug. 8, 1925 on a farm south of Glen Ullin to Eva and Ellis Fischer. She attended school in Leith and Carson, N.D. Anna married Erwin Finck March 2, 1944 of Elgin, ND. They were married for 56 years. In 1955 they moved to Burt where Anna was a bookkeeper at the Birdsall Elevator for 26 years. She also was employed as a waitress for ten years at the Holiday House Café in Mott.

Her interests included playing cards, board games, embroidering, dancing and cooking for the many hunters who stayed with her in her home during pheasant hunting season. Anna was a member of the Mott TOPS Club, the Zoar Congregational Ladies Fellowship, was a volunteer at the Mott Nursing Home and she delivered meals for the Mott Senior Center. Anna was always on the go and loved to travel even if it was just to Bismarck or Dickinson for shopping. She had a tender spot for her very good friend, Walter Blickensderfer.

Surviving are her daughter, Gloria A. Olson, Bismarck, N.D. and one son, Perry Finck, Mott, N.D. and daughter-in-law, MiChelle Finck, Mott, N.D.; five grandchildren: Lance (Rhonda) Olson, Bismarck, N.D.; Steve Olson, Minneapolis, Minn.; Lori (Shawn) DeKeyser, Casselton, N.D.; Beau (Kate) Finck, Bismarck, N.D. and Elliot Finck, Mott, N.D.; seven great-grandchildren, Kyler and Jaren Olson, Monica, Justin, Braden and Desi DeKeyser and Graham Finck, one sister-in-law Alice Fischer and one brother-in-law Donald Seibert.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Erwin; sons: Larry, LeRoy, Ray and Roy, five sisters: Elizabeth Wuest, Theresa Bickel, Emily Seibert, Margaret Hauck and Eva Petrasek and three brothers: Ellis, Joe and Frank Fischer.

She will be missed by all who knew her and enjoyed her sense of humor.
